The PSL 2024 Qualifier 1 match is eye-opening for Peshawar Zalmi. So, Peshawar Zalmi has a second chance in the qualifier 2 match with the winner of the eliminator match. Today`s batting of Peshawar Zalmi is very bad because no batter can score big runs except Babar Azam. Muhammad Haris played again a sloppy shot and out for 16 runs. Haseebullah Khan is not good today. Also, Saim Ayub can`t handle the pressure in this match. So, this match is the evaluation of the batter in pressure mode. But, only you can be passed that evaluation by scoring runs.
Peshawar Zalmi’s bowling is fighting with the target of 147 runs. Defending the target of 147 runs is very tough. This can happen with good bowling and fielding as well. Zalmi bowlers can`t handle this situation and give up. Salman Irshad and Aamer Jamal took a wicket but could not defend the target. PSL 2024 Qualifier 1 game did well for Multan Sultans as they reached in the finals. So, this is their 4th consecutive final. Sultans chasing the 147 runs in a very calm situation. The opening partnership of 61 laid the platform for Chase. But, Yasir Khan bats wonderfully with 54 runs off 37 balls. Also, Usman Khan with 36 runs, and Iftikhar Ahmed finished the target and made 22 runs off just 8 balls. Multan Sultans has a good batting scope and has a batting lineup among the other teams.
The bowling is superbly by Multan Sultans. So, they know the plan and execute it. Usama Mir`s spell of 2 for 16 in 4 overs has been impressive. Also, Chris Jordan and David Willey’s bowling is good in this situation. Other bowlers are also doing a good job. But, Chris Jordan’s last over was very good. He is a good death-over bowler in white-ball formats. The fielding has been really good in this match and this main reason for restricting Peshawar Zalmi to 146 runs. We hope Multan Sultans perform like this in finals.
