The trio needs to make the strategy of playing starting power-play overs. If they do not make any plans they will face many difficulties and may not pick on next season.
Sahibzada Farhan`s innings were really good for Lahore to rescue after 99 for 3 in 12 overs. So, the Lahore Qalandars batter`s attacking game is an example for others. His 62 off 43 balls has done the job and prevented from big collapse. I expected to think of the Lahore score which is 155. But, emerging player Jahandad Khan came to bat at number 5. This is a good move from Qalandar management. Jahandad Khan`s hard-hitting 45 runs off 17 balls gave a good finish with 187 for 7 in 20 overs.
Players like Jahandad Khan need the watch eye of an expert. Where they can improve their skills for further tournaments. Bowling of Lahore Qalandars is not good enough because of making silly mistakes. Haris Rauf needs a long rest because of continuous conceding runs in every match. In death overs, Captain Shaheen Shah Afridi give 15 runs in his last spell. Their bowlers need to know how to bowl in a good line and length. Fielding is not good for Lahore Qalandars and their management needs to focus on player’s fitness. They conceded many runs in many fielding including drop catches. In the next matches, they have to make a good combination.
Quetta Gladiators
LQ vs QG is a very happy moment for Quetta Gladiators. So, they won back to back 2 matches in two days. Not given any rest they performed well and unbelievably. Their opening partnership is again 50 runs and gives an excellent opening stand of 69 runs. Saud Shakeel played good strokes against Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf. Saud Shakeel’s innings consist of 40 runs off 23 balls. Jason Roy`s contribution was 24 off 19 balls.
Then, Khwaja Nafay comes in the important number 3 position. Khawaja Nafay’s innings were an example of emerging players in every PSL team. He played well applause innings 60 not out and finished off the match. Captain Rilee Rossouw and other batters give some contributions to emerging talent.
Again their bowling unit is curse on flopped but saved. Akeal Hosein` 2 for 17 runs and Muhammad Amir`s swing is not playable in this match. Ending overs of Waseen JR, Hasnain, and Abrar are disappointing Gladiators. Hasnian conceded 50 runs in 4 overs but took 2 wickets whereas bowlers conceded 70 runs in the last 5 overs. Also, their fielding is good enough despite gaining an early break wicket. Their fielders doing miss fielding and Drop catches which is not further good for Quetta players. They need to improve their fielding in respect to win.
