The PAK v NZ 5th match is a tough one. After the fall of Tom Blundell`s wicket in the first over, they played an attacking game. However, Tim Seifert attacks Pakistan’s fast bowlers with good shots. Build the partnership of 76 runs for the 2nd wicket. But, it looks like New Zealand can easily win this match. So, the New Zealand batter`s drawback in this match was a trap against spin bowling. Spinners took their main batters’ wickets. Their plan against fast bowlers was good and executed well. But, the late push hitting of Josh Clarkson was not effective for New Zealand.
The bowling of New Zealand was not good because they restricted Pakistan’s side to 160 runs. Due to some bowling flaws & they conceded 25 runs more in this match. Otherwise, this was a good series for young and inexperienced New Zealand bowlers. If you do not appreciate New Zealand that’s unfair for them. It was an excellent fielding in all matches. But, it was a good series for this young New Zealand team. Also, they have a bright future and good wishes for New Zealand cricket.
Pakistan Analysis
This PAK v NZ match is do and die for the Pakistan cricket team. So, they draw the series against this C-grade New Zealand side. But, they need to fix the issues of batting, bowling, and fielding. Saim Ayub is not fit for this team. Because you need patience and a good approach batter. Pakistan Captain Babar Azam is an example of a patience batter. Also, you have an example of Fakhar Zaman today. Fakhar Zaman played the sensible inning that we need today. Babar Azam showed his class, scored 69 runs, and made an important partnership with Usman Khan.
Cameo innings of Shadab Khan`s 5-ball 15 runs managed a total of 178 runs in 20 overs. This type of cameo helps very well in tough matches. The bowling performance can be divided into 2 ways. If we talk about spin bowling that’s good today. Usama Mir, Shadab Khan, and Imad Wasim`s bowling was effective in this match. Also, Shaheen Shah Afridi`s bowling was very awesome. But, fielding was not good but they managed to win and level the series.

The PAK v NZ series is ending but we saw the young New Zealand side has a bright future. But, Pakistan team management needs to sort out the middle orders batter issue. Also, address the issues in fielding as well. Their next against Ireland and England which is very tough before the T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies.
