Performance Review Pak vs NZ

Pakistan Performance Analysis

The Pak vs NZ match was a good batting start for the Pakistan cricket team. Saim Ayub and Babar Azam playing attacking cricket in the powerplay overs. Hence, they both play good shots and score runs. A missed time shot that Saim Ayub to lose his wicket. Also, Babar Azam scores a handy 37 runs. Muhammad Rizwan has found difficulties while batting and goes to retired hurt. So, this was the loss for Pakistan cricket. Usman Khan is not impressive and scores just 5 runs.

Shadab Khan and Irfan Khan counter-attack New Zealand bowlers and dealing in boundaries. Shadab Khan is an all-rounder and played well in this match. He scores 41 runs off just 20 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes. But, an appreciable innings of Irfan Khan deserves well. Both Shadab Khan and Irfan Khan’s partnership leads to a good total of 178 for 4 in 20 overs.

The bowling and fielding were very poor and some blunders in the selection XI. Your prime fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah conceded too many runs in this match. Why they rest Muhammad Amir and go with Abbas Afridi is questionable. If you drop 3 catches of an attacking batter then you will lose the match.

New Zealand Performance Analysis

The Pak vs NZ match has New Zealand C team stuns with style. Tim Robinson and Tim Seifert give a good start to chase. After that, Mark Chapman and Dean Foxcroft played awesome in this match. Mark Chapman smashes like an experienced batter of this format. He has no mercy for Pakistan bowlers and scoring runs in the boundaries. Mark Chapman played beautifully and deserves much applause.

The New Zealand bowling is said to be fair in this match. But, don’t forget Ish Sodhi’s spell of 2 for 25 in 4 overs and applause for this bowling. The remaining bowlers are fair because of inexperience. Their Captain Michael Bracewell concede runs in his last over otherwise good. Fielding has been good for New Zealand and this was the main reason for winning that match.

Ending Note

This match has some selection errors from the Pakistan side. Resting Muhammad Amir is the wrong decision and the reason for losing this match. Slopping fielding and poor bowling of Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah are also the main reasons for giving up this match. Let`s hope for a comeback from the Pakistan side against C-grade New Zealand. Otherwise, it will be a huge shame for us.
