The Pakistan tour of Australia test series is a tough test for all players. Some players can perform very well and have a good future. But, some player’s weaknesses were exposed but they could improve. This is Shan Masood`s first captaincy stint which is fair. The squad has three uncapped players Aamir Jamal, Saim Ayub, and Khurram Shehzad. Aamir Jamal and Khurram Shehzad were impressed with their skills and temperament. But, unfortunately, Khurram Shehzad just only played a single match and the injury cost him the series. Aamir Jamal`s impressive performance is very impressive in this series. He took 18 wickets and scored 143 runs in this series. Salman Ali Agha and Muhammad Rizwan’s performance is just average.
Also, this series is very horrible for Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel because they fail to score runs. Imam ul Haq`s place is under the radar in the side because of his performance in this series and the World Cup. Abdullah Shafique`s performance is not good at all.
The performance of the bowling department is excellent and gives tough times to Australian batters. Mir Hamza and Shaheed Shah Afridi are the new pair of opening bowling tests in test cricket. The duo performs well in this series. However, the fielding of the Pakistan cricket team is very poor because of drop catches. They need to take catches to win any match and play good cricket. This is the 6th straight series loss for the Pakistan cricket team.

The Pakistan tour of Australia series is good for the hosting side. This was David Warner`s last series as a test player. He made this memorable with only a century score in this series. Also, he ends his career with fairytale innings of 57 runs. Steve Smith scored only fifty in this series. His form is a big concern for Team Australia. Travis Head is scoring runs but not like that with his playing style. Usman Khawaja plays well and gives a tough time to Pakistan bowlers with patience. Overall Australian batters are good and fielding is excellent except for some missing chances.
The bowling of the Australian side is very awesome. Captain Pat Cummins led from the front and took 18 wickets in this with three 5-wicket hauls and a 10-fer. Mitchell Starc`s fiery pace and Josh Hazlewood`s ball control are destructive for the opposition side.
